THE ENCHANTED GARDEN

Statues and symbols in the garden can be powerful tools for enhancing intentions and adding meaning to your life.

Finding a piece that resonates with your personal journey can act as a visual reminder to focus one’s intentions or goals.

A stone statue or symbol can act as a physical reminder to bring one’s attention, and align one’s space with what one wishes to achieve – much like a vision board.

Benefits of including symbols or statues in your garden or space:

  • Contribute to a serene and pleasant atmosphere, which may positively impact one’s mindset;
  • Serve as tools for meditation, reflection, or intention-setting;
  • Meaningful way to connect with nature, tranquility, or personal growth;
  • Enhance your space in ways that inspire and uplift;
  • ‘Set in stone’ your values, offering a narrative of your personal journey.

Stone Mushroom: A symbol of the foundation of life (healthy soil!!)

Stone mushrooms are an example of a small but significant symbol to include in your space.  Mushrooms are rather foundational – which turns out to be a great place to start! Mushrooms do much of the ‘groundwork’ (if you will) of all life – acting as the catalyst for breaking down organic material in our soil so that nutrients may become digestible for plants, including the food and medicine that in turn, feed us.

Interestingly, Filoboletus manipularis – a bioluminescent mushroom species found throughout the Pacific, has been located recently on the Hawaiian Islands. So far, these sweet little (glowing!!) green mushrooms have only been found on the island of Kauai.  Thus, placing these stone pieces in your garden here on the island of Kauai, can offer a reminder of the interconnectedness, and perhaps the wonder (and magic), of all things.

Nautilus Shell

The Nautilus Shell is another example of a stone piece that can add intention to a space.  Nautilus Shells are associated with water, and the spiral geometric precision represents growth, expansion and renewal.    Representing the ‘golden ratio’ the Nautilus can be said to hold the ‘blueprint for the universe’ having a ratio found consistently repeated in nature.  Interestingly, works of art and architecture that embody the golden ratio are perceived by humans to be more beautiful and elegant. Known for deflecting negative energies, the Nautilus also purifies the surrounding space and attracts loving energies. The shell may be used to assist in meditation and invokes calmness, provides strength, balance, and renewal to the physical energy.

Primitive Garden Spirit

The primitive garden sprit lends a sweet energy, that reminds us to slow down and in tune into the beauty all around us.  What better tone to set for your very own enchanted garden?
